Dancing on the River is more than an event—it’s a movement. In just two years, over 18,000 people have come together to transform downtown Reno into a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and connection. Set along the river beneath the city lights, families, friends, and strangers become one community as the sounds of cumbia, bachata, salsa, banda—and even country line dancing bring everyone to the dance floor. Free, inclusive, and fueled by pure joy, Dancing on the River is where cultures meet, barriers fade, and Reno comes alive through movement, rhythm, and shared moments.
Día de los Muertos is a heartfelt celebration of life, memory, and tradition in the heart of downtown Reno. Rooted in culture and community, this gathering honors the legacy of our loved ones through a shared community ofrenda, where stories, photos, and remembrance come together in a powerful display of love and connection. With music, color, and joy filling the streets—and even a pet costume contest bringing smiles to all ages—Día de los Muertos is a space to reflect, celebrate, and pass traditions forward. It’s a reminder that those we love are never gone, as long as we remember them together.
We care deeply about our community and are always looking for help or if you have an idea for an event drop us your info!
